Spoon carving is one of the oldest making traditions in human history—every culture that has ever cooked has made one. In this two-hour session, you’ll use simple hand tools to carve your own wooden spoon from a basswood blank, guided by a maker and educator whose approach is rooted in the idea that working with your hands is a form of thinking. No experience is necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to slow down and pay attention to the material in front of you. You’ll leave with a handmade spoon, a set of tools you own, and a different relationship to the objects you use every day.
Price: $95 | All materials included
